Most organizations will have a customer service policy, which
describes their strategy for looking after customers. The policy will
emphasize how highly the organization values their customers.
The terms the 'customer is king' and 'customer service is our
priority' are often used to describe the value which the
organization place on their customers.

Unfortunately slogans and catch phrases are where their customer
service sometimes begins and ends because staff don't share the
same passion for serving the customer. The aim of any customer
service policy will be to make customers feel satisfied and valued
so that they will want to return. That is only achieved when staff in
all positions of an organization recognize that customer service
really must be their priority too.
